Torticollis is a condition that can happen at birth and may be caused by the way the baby is positioned in the womb or from trauma during delivery. It is a shortening or contracture of the SCM muscle in the neck, which causes the head to tilt. If detected early, your child's torticollis may be easily corrected through stretching, massage and exercise
